School Year - August SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring 's SOTM, which is School Year Stamp of the month, a set of 9 stamps.  If you have come here from
Vicky ODell's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog:  http://ifyoublingit.blogspot.com/p/stamp-of-month-blog-hop-list.html

I made this card for one of my daughters for the first day of school. I make a card for them at the beginning and ending of each school year to offer words of encouragement as they embark on a new educational journey. On the inside I used the stamp that lists the year, teacher and school, etc. This is all stuff I include in the card but having this stamp makes it much more organized looking. It is also a great way to show who their teachers were and what school they attended. I sadly did not get a picture of this before filling it in and now that it has personal information I do not want to post it, I am sure you understand!

This month we have Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

Now "Hop" on over to Miss Carries Creations's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the SOTM is only available until !  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!

Thanks!

Brandi

Love....H2H Challenges

This is a layout idea I have been wanting to do for a long time and I finally found the right paper pack and Hello Lovely just seemed to be the paper pack to try this out.  I took a class at a local scrapbook store Two Scrapbook Friends in Waterloo, ON.  and learned how to use my Silhouette Cameo to stitch on pages.

It may be a bit hard to tell but I the large heart is stitched. I do not sew, do not have a sewing machine and really do not want to buy one just for the few times I want to stitch on a page. I have enough tools, I do not need to add any more stuff in my scrapbook room but this technique fulfills my stitching needs.

Products used:

Paper:
- Hello Lovely
- White Daisy, Fern, and Sorbet card stock

Ink:
- Sorbet
- Versa Mark

Embellishments:
- Hello Lovely compliments
- Gold embossing powder

Stamps:
- Hello Lovely scrapbooking

Thanks for stopping by and visiting. We would love to see what you come up with for the stitching challenge. You have until the end of the month to join in and play along.

Until next time, happy crafting....
